In 1976, Thomas’s younger brother worked with a girl that had a Chevelle for sale at $1000. He decided to check it out and to his surprise, it was a 1966 Chevelle SS with a 396 big block.
This 1966 Chevelle currently has a 396 big block with Pro Comp aluminum heads, H-beam rods, forged Speed Pro pistons, a Comp Cams solid roller camshaft with .642 lift, and stainless steel roller rockers with Comp Cam stud girdle.
Recently, Tom has installed a steel cowl induction hood that has been custom wrapped, along with billet aluminum hood hinges to support it. He has also chosen to add rear disc brakes to the Chevelle. Soon the existing carpet will be removed, as it is not the correct 80/20 loop carpet, and an Alien Enclosure trunk kit will be installed at the same time.
