Tony’s 1972 Nova

Built From The Ground Up

Tony’s 1972 Nova

Tony picked up this 1972 Nova because its almost the same car he used to own in college, just a lot nicer. It is an original California car that had the numbers matching 350 small block and TH350 transmission.

He picked up this 1972 Nova a few years ago with approximately 64,000 miles on the odometer. He has since replaced all of the suspension components, added a quicker ratio steering box, a larger front sway bar and added a rear sway bar. The factory 14 inch wheels have been replaced by 15×7/15×8 Rally wheels.

Tony has also swapped the original 2 barrel carburetor for a 4 barrel and added an Edelbrock intake manifold to compensate. The column shifted TH350 was replaced by a 4 speed Muncie, and at the same time the factory green bench interior was traded for black with bucket seats.

During the interior change, any electrical issues were addressed and as a bonus, Tony found the build sheet! Thankfully, this verified all of the information that the previous owner had given Tony about this specific 1972 Nova’s history and original equipment.
