Vinny got this 1971 Nova in October 2004 to get his mind off of the tragic World Trade Center attacks of 9/11, as he was a first responder and a survivor.
This Nova would be his release, as it brought him back to when he was 17 years old when he had a different 1971 Nova. It brought back memories of the 1970’s and the great time of his life he had racing the streets back then.
He chose to perform a factory street style restoration, which was completed back in 2009. The Nova sports a Chevy 468 big block making 625 naturally aspirated horsepower, paired to a Muncie M22.

Vinny has very little left to modify or replace on his Nova, as he’s just about finished up putting his touches on it. He may entertain fuel injection in the near future.
