Waldy purchased this 1969 Camaro RS 35 years ago in 1986 from the owner’s younger brother who rebuilt the 350 engine and added a few after-market pieces of equipment but did not disturb the originality.
Because he and his wife were starting to raise two children they decided to put the car on hold ( garaged ) and concentrated on building a family.
After 35 years or so, the kids are now grown and out of the house. It was time to wake up the RS.
They decided to have the car resto-moded from Gearhead Garage in Sacramento, which specialized in resto-mod work.
After another seven months of waiting, they finally received their vehicle from the shop. Ever since then, they have taken it to local car shows and organized evening car cruises.
They receive many compliments and thumbs up. It was worth holding onto this vehicle, and he’s positive that this 1969 Camaro RS will remain with them forever.

This car is unique because it has that OG look with new technology. This car has the original and in excellent shape deluxe interior and vinyl top. Also, the exterior paint is what is called out per VIN data ( code 55 turquoise ).
Plans for the 1969 Camaro are very simple, to keep this car in the family. Waldy would like to leave it to his, who can then pass it on to his son or daughter and so on. He would like to rebuild the front driver and passenger seats and replace them with new springs.
