Vehicle Fitment
Reviews
Although the 1968 El Camino tailgate emblem looks a lot like the 1969-70, there is a difference. In 1968 the El Camino tailgate had a reset area where the studs went through the tailgate panel. The 1968 emblem has a larger foot that matches the reset area. In 1969-70 there was no reset area made on the tailgate panel, eliminating the need for the larger foot. If a 1968 emblem is put on a 1969-70 panel, there will be a 1/4 inch gap around the perimeter of the emblem. Includes fasteners.
