Each bezel features a black finish around the headlight and 7 horizontal ribs to match the 7 ribs on the grill. The very top horizontal rib and the very bottom horizontal rib are finished in highly polished bright chrome plating to mate with the 2 chrome accents on the Super Sport grill. This design is original for all late 1968 Super Sport Nova models. Some very early 1968 SS models may have had chrome plated headlight surrounds.
